On April 28th, the unveiling of the latest Dragon e3 formula took place at FME. The event was hosted by Slovak F1 commentator Štefan Eisele. The evening was kicked off by speeches from the Dean of FME doc. Ing. Jiří Hlinka Ph. D., and our team leader Bc. Patrik Tiszai. Following that, the audience had the opportunity to learn from section leaders what we have improved on the formula this year.

This year’s formula is a few kilograms lighter, has new aero elements and a newly located and improved water circuit. Among other things, driverless elements have also been added to the formula, so this year, for the first time in the team’s history, we will also be competing in the autonomous driving formula category at the races!

After the successful unveiling of this year’s formula, a traditional auction took place. It was possible to take away a Dragon e3 blueprint with signatures from all team members, a Dragon e3 steering wheel replica, a Dragon e2 gearbox clock, a Dragon e3 magnesium handlebar holder, or a table. A total of 20,700 CZK was collected. All proceeds will go to the humanitarian civic association Červený kříž.

Before and after the unveiling, visitors could view the exhibited formulas from past years, namely the Dragon e1 and Dragon e2 from the electric category, as well as the Dragon 4 and the famous Dragon X, which fought in the category of combustion formulas. In addition, there was an opportunity to taste what it’s like to be a motorsport driver either on our own simulator or on the simulator from our sponsor All4sim. Refreshments were of course also provided during the evening thanks to Redbull, Rebel Bean and Penam.
